Just gushing over these greys

These greys are sooooo delicious. Goodness, the variety is amazing. The shading is so much fun. And the sheer number of inks included in this set make it so that I can find my favorite ink!

one container leaked

Loved trying the inks, however one of the vials leaked inside the ziplocked bag and I had to clean all three from that bag.

So far, so good

I got this sampler set to use with a new Lamy C1. I've tried both the Pilot Fuyu-syogun and the Diamine Earl Grey. The pilot grey was a little more blue than it looked in the sample picture, but I liked it. The Earl grey is darker and also nice. I look forward to trying more shades in both my fine job pen and my medium job pens.

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
