I purchased this ink as a sample from Goulet. I have quite a few Herbin inks and have been happy with all of them. I will not be ordering a bottle of Corail des Tropiques, not because it's a badly behaving ink, but because it is not the color I was looking for. I wanted a warm pink. I got a orangey ink. But you won't go wrong with J Herbin for quality or performance. If you like the color, you won't be disappointed. I love the other inks I've purchased (Bleu Nuit, Bleu Myosotis, Vert de Gris, Poussiere de Lune, Rouge Grenat).

I was in search of a good coral. This one exceeded my expectations because it is so vivid and juicy.

This will be going into my newly acquired TWSBI salmon Swipe. ( :

I was quite pleasantly surprised with how this ink looks on paper. I'm currently using it in a Twsbi eco fine, and I love how it's not too vibrant, and has a light dusty tone to it. I'm still new to the fountain pen world, but I've been loving most of J. Herbin's inks so far ^^
