I love the chromashading. The shimmer is just perfect.
My overall experience with this lovely grey and rose gold ink is wonderful. I have it inked up in my white rose gold TWSBI mini with 1.1mm stub nib. First of all, the pairing of the rose gold trim of the mini with the rose gold shimmer of this ink is sublime. Secondly, the calm slate grey and teal duo-tone shading is in my opinion the prettiest combination especially in contrast to that rosey shine. This ink is simply magical. It is my new favourite.
I loved the color of this ink and watched a number of reviews in various types of pens before purchasing. The shading and shimmer are so lovely. But I tried this in 3 of my best pens for shimmer ink and each one clogged to the point of no further writing after only a few words. I tried various paper. I re-watched all the reviews. But the feed on my broad nib Twisbi mini is one solid wash of rose gold glitter with no ink flow. The shimmer also settles at the bottom of the bottle within seconds of shaking it, too. I'll stick with a better brand for shimmer inks in the future.
Beautiful and understated ink with lots of mystery and depth and yadda yadda BUT LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS BOTTLE. It's atrocious. The neck is uselessly narrow. I have 300+ pens and the only ones skinny enough to fit in the neck of this ostentatious bottle are 100 year old EYEDROPPERS. That's a paddlin' if you ask me.
